Overview:
Through the years 2024-2025 (and soon 2026) I have worked as the sole graphic designer of the Asian & Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) at Oregon State University. While being in this role I have designed numerous event posters, social media flyers, merchandise, and video and podcast editing.
Here is a brief collection of the work I have done through my time working with the APCC.
Poster & Social media Work:
Open House 2024
APCC Connect 2024
Spook N' Slime 2024
Lunar New Year 2025
Basketball Tournament 2025
APIDA Heritage Month 2025
Speaking Our Roots 2025
APCC & SOL Night Market 2025
Open House 2025
Graduation Celebration 2025
APCC Connect 2025
Monster Bash 2025
These posters were created to promote events that would be held throughout the year at the center. They would designed for multiple formats such as posters, social media posts, and tv displays. Each were designed to embody belonging, and inspire APIDA (Asian & Pacific Desi American) students at Oregon State University to get involved more in the community through these events.
Apparel & MerchAndise:
APCC Hoodie (Front)
APCC Hoodie (Back)
For staff apparel, I designed a hoodie that encapsulates the magic and history of the center's building, which at the time had turned 10 years old. Red was chosen as the main color for its symbolism of luck and good fortune in both asian and pacific islander cultures.
APCC 10th Anniversary Sticker
APCC Flora Sticker
Matching sticker for the 10th anniversary of the center, and another design that celebrates the diverse flora of Asia and the Pacific Islands.
Making Waves Podcast:
The Making Waves podcast is an award winning show hosted by the Asian & Pacific Cultural Center that focuses on topics around the API identity. I was the audio editor for season 5 of the podcast, which consisted of 9 40 - 60 minute episodes. To promote the new season of the show, I created a poster that would be put up in the center and our social media. It took inspiration from the podcast's cover art, which was designed by the center's previous graphic designer.
APCC 2024 - 2025 Recap Video:
To end off the school year, and bring more excitement for the years to come, I edited a short video clip that captures the events that were held by the APCC during 2024-2025. This was done using Adobe Express in order to produce it quickly.
